Vanderlei Luxemburgo broke his silence yesterday over his departure from Real Madrid.
Now with Santos, the Brazilian slammed Real president Florentino Perez in a TV interview: "Arrigo Sacchi and I thought that we lacked players to have a strong squad, but Florentino did not support us.
"If I had continued in the job Madrid would have won the Liga or the
Champions League. I do not have any doubt.
"I still do not understand why they sacked me. I left the team when Barça was six points ahead in the Liga and now the difference is 13 points ..."
