Im sticking to topic with gerrard where you went off with maradona hand.

Point is again even Liverpool fans admit there own captain dive. Thats terrible in my opinion

Why? Surely the fact he dives is "terrible", not that we admit he dives? Would you rather we lied? Confused

Let's be honest, this is just anti-Liverpool/Gerrard(/England) rubbish. I'm not condoning him at all but the majority of teams do it and it's being melodramatic to react in the way you did. Did you, or anyone, do the same when Yakubu threw himself to the ground on quite a few occasions over the home Fiorentina leg Fiorentina or Liverpool derby games?

Yes i did the same as i dont like diving. Being a coach to see these so called superstars do it is shocking.
Anti Liverpool? What nonsence is this your talking about?

I singled Gerrard out in this game because that is what he did 2 times was dive.
End of

I beg to differ. This was your post-match post after the Fiorentina game:

Quote:
Unlucky Everton.

Hate italians

So your hatred for divers is so vehement that you ignored it for the team that fairly ousted Scotland from the Euro qualifiers. Right. Your post-match Merseyside derby post:

Quote:
Venegoor of Hesselink is p1ss poor. And nah i dont no many players who would get in the top 10 of the EPL teams who play in scotland. Lee Wilkie is my only thinking

Again, no mention of Yakubu making as blatant a dive as Gerrard did against Blackburn, too in the penalty area. Contrast this with your comments around the relevant Blackburn match:

Quote:
Gerrard diving. He is a cheat. A disgrace. Good goal mind you. Lucas kept the ball in and no more.
But the point is gerrard is a cheat

Quote:
2 dives. 2 yellow cards, bye bye gerrard. But oh no this didnt happen. He is a cheat. A disgrace. The ref is a joke.

Quote:
Gerrard should of been off. How did he get away with not even getting a yellow card? The Fa should look at this. Get diving kicking out of football. People like gerrard dosnt help with this

These in the space of 25 minutes time. See what i'm getting at? You're making an inconsistent reaction, and one that's melodramatic. If you don't like diving then fine, that's entirely your opinion and i don't think many would disagree, but at least enforce it with consistency my man.

I don't think i am. Care to quote me mate?

not really, i just hav the opinion that you are tho. i dont care, im anti Man United

Well i can't think of a post i've recently made that's been anti-Newcastle, but suit yourself. Maybe you're mistaking me for someone else or perhaps i've written something that i've forgotten.

I didnt watch the Liverpool v Everton game maybe? Only seen highlights and were they on them? No! I commented on someone who mentioned JVH being a top player. So you got my quote right.
Telling me Italians didnt cheat in the san siro v scotland? Were you there? Did you see them dive? Did you see luca toni and perotta dive in that game? Outclassed utter rubbish. Even Donnadoni said we were the better team. Want me to quote that let me know.

Your right because we are talking about diving not offside goals. Plus the game i spoke about was the other game in italy not the one in scotland. Im biased about what? That gerrard is a diver?

I got nothing to be biased about when talking about the club i support. If we cheat ill say we did

Instead its Exeter v Aldershot live on Setanta Wink

I watch that instead. Just as enjoyable as Liverpool v Blackburn except no divers in the conference games Wink

What makes me angry about the diving is that when those British serial divers such as Rooney,Gerrard and J.Cole do it they never receive the same amount of ire as when Drogba was "alleged" to have done it way back.J.Cole is proabably the worse in terms of numbers but never get's even a mention.Gerrard and Rooney however are the worst examples for young players ,because they actually have great technical ability, therefore the media needs to be more critical of them as they are role models.

double standard?..........what double standard?

Liverpool v Blackburn Rovers
