I find it funny how people want Gerrard hung for a few dives. Pathetic as they might be, he only started diving in the past couple of season's because he's seen the likes of Chelsea do it relentlessly and get away with it. He's sunk to their level, in other words.

Skrtel could well have gone but then so should Samba. The Slovak didn't have his best game, with a few uncharacteristically mistimed challenges, but he wasn't punished for them luckily.

It's disappointing we fell asleep before the final whistle and let them score, but the points are important and that's fourth place well and truly sewn up. Now the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano, Kuyt, Alonso etc. can afford to be rested against Fulham.

Ah so he "just" started diving in the last few seasons. And you find this acceptable? Your happy a player in your team dives?

Least a Liverpool fan can admit there team captain is a cheat. Which is pretty sad to hear in my opinion. Should be no diving. Cheating to win the Champions League Wink

Just another Kuyt day... Held his own and tried to do his job. Missed a big chance to score...

He really needs to get glasses or something... Maybe he's drunk?

Nope. He got taken off in the 58th in favor of Benayoun.

Gerrard, Torres, and Voronin scored for Liverpool. Santa Cruz for Blackburn.

all this pant wetting over diving makes me laugh.

anybody would think that Gerrard is the only player who seeks and advantage through dogdy means. G_Man's reaction in particularly fills me with amusement, here is his reaction to Maradona's Hand of God goal which is of course seeking an advantage through dogdy means in the finest form....

so that makes him a great guy, but going over easily to con a ref makes another person a disgrace and a cheat? great principles.

biased much?

people will always try to gain an advantage... sh*t happens, get over it.

Imagine this....

West Ham in the qtr finals of the fa cup next season (I know thats laughable Very Happy )

l,pool 0 - 0 West Ham with 30 seconds to go and gerrard dives in the box and scores a pen...

I will personally cheer for the first time EVER for l,pool if this ever happened. It's even all very possible, besides West Ham getting so far in anything of course.

short memory syndrome.

we were in the FA Cup final quite recently...

a similar thing happened, we kicked the ball out for fair play, Liverpool threw it to Scaloni and instantly pressured him forcing him to toe it straight into gerrards path and the rest is history.

sh*t happens. look at your players. Johnson spends more time on the grass than Bob Marley. players will try to win at all costs. is that really so bad?
