I'd have Falamini ahead of Fabregas. I've change a few names there. I'd definitely have Kranjar in the young list. Where is he? He's better than Agbonlahor.

If you think Man U would be affected if Ronaldo left then pick him ,if you don't think they would loose their current position in the league then pick David James.
Simple as that.

Young player should go to ronaldo if regardless if he's younger than 22yrs.

are you deaf!

alright alright for he mentally challenged i will simplify the comment.

In other words Ronaldo has a supporting cast the enables him to do what he has done this year this year.
I know that concept might be over the head of a few here but whatever.Do you think if Ronaldo was on a side like Fulham he would be top scorer? I'm guessing most intelligent people wouldn't think so,but in perspective Saha was top of the league while at the incredibly average west London team so he's proven himself as a top player without a incredible team around him. Obviously ronaldo would never be on an average team ever, but the closest you can get is Portugal. So after he wins this iffy award judge him and his greatness in how he performs in big euro games. You could say the big perm games as well, but everyone ignores that for some reason.

LOl, Portugal average... Rolling Eyes

Only a final and two semi finals in the last 4 major tournaments... Is there any nation with a better record/more consistent record than that in the last 4 major tournaments?

Ronaldo should win both, he's added 37 goals to his tally so far, and that's just 5 goals behind Torres & Adebayor combined together (their Premier League goals).

You can't combine Premier League goals of two players and produce anything worthwhile by comparing it to another players' total tally.

Ronaldo has hardly scored more than Torres in reality, considering that the Portuguese takes penalties (scoring 5 in total (although i'm not sure whether that's solely in the Premier League or in all competitions)). Torres doesn't, and if he did (or Ronaldo didn't) he would be just a couple of goals off Ronaldo.

I'd be interested to see either players' assist tally (not that i think Torres has more).

Just went through a quick look for you Ben. In all competitions, Torres has 4. Ronaldo has 7.

Just take 1 off each to get their total in the league.

Come on guys....all this Liverpool bias for Torres is going a little bit over the top.

Fact - Torres is looking good because he is playing in a team FULL of average squad players.

Fact - SAF was just 3 hours away from signing him for United but instead opted for Tevez as he thought he was better value for money. As I believe he is too, and a better all round contributor to team play.

Fact - If Torres was in the United squad he would probably have less goals than Tevez has now.

Other than the second one, your first and last statement cannot be proven as fact. Far too subjective and all opinions/speculations.

They both have very few assists, just a couple each as of early May.
