I just knew it was troubling to see Aurelio get off. Riise really has been extremely poor this season. No goals and his game has really been found out.

Torres played like he forgot how to play football. Maybe it was his first time in the big occasion. Although Chelsea played better I think Liverpool created the more threatening chances really.

Torres only contribution to the game was his dive to win the free kick that led to Kuyt's very lucky goal. Torres should have been booked for diving instead of getting a free kick awarded.

The ref really was quite poor. He let nearly everything go other than when someone slightly (non-aggressively) raised their arms to someone when challenging, or just leaning their arms or chest near their opponent when going to challenge. It was pathetic.

What about Ballack's hand-ball in the box?
