You made many good points, and Chelsea are without doubt stronger right now. But Juve are never going to be as strong after just 1 year back in Serie A. In 2 or 3 years they will be back to the force they've always been.
Chelsea aren't that perfect though fakeplastictrees. Look at the team, and how many of them want to leave. Drogba, Malouda, Cudicini, Shevchenko, Lampard, Sidwell, Ben Haim, and probably SWP. |

Juventus may well be back to the force they were depending on signings etc.. in a few years but as of right now they definitely are not the force they were which brings me back to the original discussion, that being that Lampard and Evra will not move there because as of right now they are not a top tier side and so those two won't be leaving to join them. Especially Lampard because he doesn't have two or three years to wait it out but Evra too. Evra is first choice, no rotation, no questions asked for the best and richest club in the world. Why exactly would he leave? As for those players most of them want to leave because they are on the peripheries of the side with the notable exceptions of Drogba and Lampard who want to leave because of Mourinho. Although I'm not entirely certain that's still the case after Chelsea's recent turnaround. |

I don't know about that. For a start, Chelsea have a better team, and in the next couple of weeks could ruin Man U's season. And, with Abromavic's money, Chelsea are the richest team in the world as well. Chelsea the club aren't rich at all, all the money is Abramovic's, not Chelsea's, but if he decides to dip into his pockets , then no other team comes close. As for Evra and Lampard not going to Juve. You said yourself that Juve will probably become a mighty force again, but it depends on signings. Aren't Lampard and Evra those sort of signings needed? And don't you think they know that Juve can easily become a force again, if they sign the likes of them? |

Man Utd will win the Premiership, that's almost certain as for the CL who knows. If that's your measure for richest club then surely QPR are the richest club in the world?
Yes but they won't leave. In order for any team to be the best they are the kind of signings required but it doesn't mean they will happen. |

More money, stronger league, better players to play alongside, more chance of European and domestic trophies.
Ballack & Drogba arguing about who's going to take the free kick? Drogba wanting to leave because he doesn't earn as much as Ballack?
You do know that Chelsea weren't established under Mourinho? They've been there since 1905 and in all that time they've never won a title except for Murinho's 2 miracle seasons. They've been coached by Rainieri and other managers before, yet nooootthing. Juve have won 29 Scudettos. Even though they don't look like it, Chelsea are in chaaoooss! 1. The players that other guy mentioned want to leave 2. Their manager is unknown and will probably be sacked |

That's really one player, who has always been a moaner. Next example please?
Not of that matters as I already proved. Players don't care what they've won a long time ago. Did Shevchenko care? Did Ballack care? Did Robben care? Did Essien care? Did Carvalho care? Those players were being courted by all the worlds 'elite' clubs but they didn't pick those, they picked Chelsea because right now Chelsea are a big club with a phenomenal squad and shed loads of cash. Those players and other top players do not care that Juventus won the league 29 times, they care about right now, who is challenging for top trophies, who has the best team and who is offering the most money and that is Chelsea. That is why top players aren't interested in Juventus and that's why they are being linked Amauri this summer and not Ronaldinho, Berbatov, Eto'o and the other big names up for grabs. Who are Chelsea being linked with? Kaka, Daniel Alves and Ronaldinho Who are Juventus being linked with? Amauri, Olef Mellberg, Philip Lahm. So who is the bigger club there then? |

Which reminds me, Ronaldinho has refused 100 times to join Chelsea because he considers them boring and obviously not a big club. Now Juventus are not linked with Mellberg, Amauri coz they already bought them, but Lahm is an exceptional player any team would wish to have. Kaka & Ronaldinho are not going to join Chelsea, I guarantee that. Being linked with someone doesn't make you big since you won't sign them in the end.
Shevchenko and Ballack joined because Chelsea already had won the EPL twice and they had Mourinho. Once Chelsea lose everything this season you will see Lampard in a Juve shirt. PS: Amauri is far better than Berbatov (scored 15 Serie A goals which is a lot harder than scoring against no names in EPL). |

He refused to leave because he was already a top earner at the worlds best club at the time, it had nothing to do with Chelsea so much as it was to do with how good Barcelona was/is because players on top form do not move down the totem pole unless they are getting more money (which Juventus can't afford) or aren't playing first team (which Evra and Lampard are) show me players who in the height of their form and careers voluntarily moved to lesser clubs when they are playing week in week out. It doesn't happen and thus they won't leave.
Lahm is a solid right back, I guess he'll go for 15m at most, Daniel Alves on the other hand will break 25m, who is the more significant player? Lahm probably wont go to Juventus anyway, he'll go to Barcelona to replace Zambrotta, or to Liverpool because they are bigger clubs who have more chance of winning things. Liverpool might win the CL or the EPL next year. There is no way Juventus will come close to either just look at their team and look at the other teams of Europe and the other teams in Italy.
ahahahahahahaha you are delusional. If Lampard leaves he goes to wherever Mourinho goes that is a flat out fact, everyone in football knows it. Why would he move to Juventus? For more money? Well no because Chelsea can offer more than anyone? To play with better players? Nope Chelsea have arguably the worlds best squad. To win trophies? No because Juventus are way behind Inter and have no chance in the league. For the manager? No because Mourinho is the one he wants to play for. For the fans? No because Juventus have a dwindling fanbase. For his wife? Nope he has a Spanish Wife suggesting he'll go Barcelona. So what have you got?
I personally am a sceptic of Berbatov but considering that Real Madrid, Man Utd, Barcelona, Inter, AC and others are sniffing he is clearly thought of more highly than Amauri. |

Shevchenko left Milan for a much lesser side - Chelsea. Just think about it, Milan are always favourites to win the CL (Chelsea are not), they have even greater players than Chelsea (Kaka, Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo and the list goes on) and he left (according to him) because of his family; anything is possible, and Frank might leave to Juve because of the incident with his mother (RIP).
Based on what do you say dwindling fanbase? We don't at least shout "You don't know what you're doing to our manager".
Real Madrid want him? That's news to me. Utd. wanted him but now they have Tevez - a far better purchase. Barcelona are going for Benzema or perhaps D. Villa, Inter have Ibra & Cruz connection and the only team who might want him are Ac Milan (because their best striker is 35 or so). |

Gotta disagree with that. Berbatov is FAR better than Amauri. I think Berbatov is the second best striker in the premiership, and one of the best in the world. Comfortably. I agree with what you said about Lahm though. He's an exceptional player. Better than two of the players fakeplastictrees listed who are linked with Chelsea - Ronaldinho and Alves. |

Despite his current form this is Ronaldinho we're talking about. At his peak he was twice the player Messi and Ronaldo are right now. Even in this form he's better than Lahm easilly. |

Ronaldinho's forum currently is so bad that he isn't even used for more than warming the bench (last he was not uninjured). He does close to nothing on the pitch and how do you compare and attacking winger/AMF to a left back? Lahm is pretty good, and we've seen that since 2002 World Cup. This season he wasn't all that good with Bayern though. |

Ronaldinho at his best was indeed twice the player Messi and Ronaldo are now, but he is a LONG way from his best.
He rarely plays now because he's so poor, so how can he be considered better than one of the best fullbacks in the world? Currently Ronaldinho isn't even close - despite being THE most gifted player in the world. |

Because if he can get fit he is that good. He hasn't lost the skill he's just unfit and unmotivated. With a new club and someone forcing him to train and get fit then you have the player you once had. |

Don't change your comments By the way it looks like Juve have an agreement with another free bosman defender - Ujfalusi According to confidential sources, Tomas Ujfalusi has come to a verbal agreement with Juventus to sign for them this summer. The Czech international’s contract with the Viola runs out at the end of the season and he is almost certain to leave on free transfer having refused to sign an extension Sevilla had seemed like hot favourites to snap up the 29-year-old in January but the move fell through. Most recently though it had appeared that Atletico Madrid were the player’s most likely destination. However now, confidential sources in Italy are suggesting that Ujfalusi has come to a verbal agreement with Juventus to sign for them. The towering stopper, who can play at centre back or right back would be Juve’s second free transfer capture, with Olof Mellberg already being snapped up from Aston Villa. Ujfalusi signed for Fiorentina from Hamburg in 2004 and has since gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club. He has also won 64 caps for the Czech Republic national team and he played for them at Euro 2004, where they reached the semi-final, and the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where they were dumped out in the group stages. He is set to feature at this summer’s Euros in Austria and Switzerland. |

That right there shows exactly where Juventus are on the football spectrum. Alongside teams like Sevilla and Atletico Madrid competing for aging centre halfs like Ufalusi. |

1. You changed your comment. First you said that Ronaldinho is better than Lahm with his current forum, then you withdrew that comment and said he needs to get back to his form because he didn't lose his skill 2. There is nothing wrong in getting Ujfalusi as he is on par with defenders playing for the "great teams" like Barcelona. As a matter of fact Ujfalusi has played better than Thuram this season, and better than Abidal. |

He's an okay centre back but the teams you are competing with for his signature show exactly where Juventus stand as a club right now. |

Juventus were linked to the likes of Van Der Vaart & Diego just as the rest of the big teams, so it isn't just these kind of players (who are good defenders by the way).
On to a new subject: Juve To Hand Amauri To Milan For Gilardino Reports are strengthening in Italy that Juventus are set to scrap their deal to buy Amauri, handing the reigns to Milan in return for signing Alberto Gilardino instead. Amauri had appeared almost certain to sign for the Bianconeri, and Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini earlier this week stated that a deal was “98 per cent completed”, with the finishing touches being applied next week. However yesterday evening Amauri delivered a sensational announcement, saying that he may not join Juve any longer. “It’s not certain I am leaving this season. At the end of the campaign I will talk to Zamparini and he’ll set out his plans,” said the Brazilian. The Gazzetta dello Sport now says that the major snag in Amauri’s move has come about due to wages. The 27-year-old is demanding €3.75m a season, but Alessio Secco and the Juventus management are refusing to pay him more than €3m, and have made it clear they will not be changing their mind. As a result it is now looking possible that Milan, who are more than happy to cough up the extra €750k, will be allowed by Juve to step in and sign Amauri instead. In return Milan will sell the Old Lady forward flop Gilardino, who was certain to leave the club at the end of the season anyway. Gila has had a miserable three seasons at San Siro since joining from Parma in 2005, however a question mark remains over how much the Rossoneri will demand for a player they paid €24m for. |

Juve Offer Iaquinta for Mancini
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Juventus look likely to beat Inter Milan to the signing of Amantino Mancini, by offering Vincenzo Iaquinta to Roma in exchange. Mancini has been a key player for Roma over the past few years, however his contract expires in 2009, and he is almost certain to leave the club this summer having rejected a new deal. Both Juventus and Inter have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian, with the former wanting him as a replacement for the probably retiring Pavel Nedved, and the latter viewing him also as a replacement, this time for the departing Luis Figo. The Corriere says that the Bianconeri are set to win the race by offering striker Iaquinta in return. The 28-year-old only signed from Udinese last summer, and despite a good season, he has become increasingly irritated at largely being a substitute for the prolific David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero. Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is in favour of the exchange as he is a huge admirer of Iaquinta, having successfully coached him at Udinese in the past. Inter are likely to turn their attentions exclusively to Arsenal Aliaksandr Hleb as they look to solve their problem on the left hand side of midfield. Nedved on way out after failed talks? There is fresh speculation that Pavel Nedved could be on his way out of Juventus after contract talks today failed miserably. Nedved’s deal at Turin runs out at the end of the season, and the 35-year-old and his agent Mino Raiola arranged a meeting today with Juve director Jean-Claude Blanc to discuss the possibility of a one-year extension. The talks did not go well at all, and no agreement was reached between the two sides. As Nedved left the Bianconeri’s offices on Corso Galileo Ferraris he was asked by journalists how the two sessions of discussions had gone. The former Czech Republic international grinned before replying sarcastically: “How did they go? Superbly.” It is now looking increasingly possible that Nedved, who joined Juventus from Lazio back in 2001, could retire at the end of the season, or possibly take up a foreign challenge abroad. Japanese outfit Jubilo Iwata have made their interest known recently. Earlier this week Nedved admitted that he was strongly considering his future. | ||||||||||||
