Why are Chelsea fans always on the back of there players.

Few weeks ago they were booing grant and his substitutes then they both went and scored and they shut up.

Now they are singing/chanting " stand up if you hate kalou". Thats pretty pathetic

So far nothing happened in the first 33 minutes

The highlight of this match has been on the 10th minute when Drogba stole Wright-Phillips hat.

Chelsea are a woefully boring side, and as such, amid wanting them to overhaul United, i half want them to finish the season with nothing.

But as i'm writing this they go and score; as per usual, grinding their way to success.

"G-G-G--GOALLLLLLLL!!! ESSIEN opens the scoring with a drilled effort from the edge of the area from Anelka's lay-off!!! Kirkland deserved better because only moments earlier he had saved heroically from point-blank range from Kalou;s strike!"

I still love Chelsea from when Murinho reigned, hopefully they'll snatch the title this season.

Chelsea are very machine like - Germanic almost. Efficiency is the word to describe them.

Wigan have been woeful in the second half but Bruce is sending on his attacking subs to make an impression. 10 to go.

BOOM HEADSHOT...

Heskey with the equaliser, with the Chelsea players in Lala land thinkin about what beer they drinking after the game. A shocking goal to concede with the experience of the team.

Emile Heskey with a goal in the 90th to steal a point. And to crash Chelsea out of the title race (unless some miracle happens).

Chelsea need United to lose to either Blackburn, West Ham or Wigan now. It's over, in other words. They deserve it really.

Chelsea no way deserve to win the league this year with the way they've played all season.

Game...shot...and the TITLE!!!!

Congratulations Manchester United - totally deserve it. Best team by a comfortable distance.

A B O U - Always Bet On United. That's another £100 stored safely in the Johaldo coffers Cool

Grant MUST win the Champions League now, simple as that. But they won't - Liverpool will bang them out.

Don't think so. Last leg at the Bridge this time. Chelsea will instead lose to MU in the final.

Well that's for another thread (CL section) but Chelsea have been woeful in the Premiership this season.

I think it's safe to say that the title race is over now.

Disappointing result for Chelsea... Crippling blow to their title hopes. Unless United get a shock result it must be over now... Looks like Liverpool, Chelsea, United and Arsen...oops... can focus on the Champion's League a little bit more now. Chelsea should still stay in the thick of it in the League though... you'll never know... But still... all those Chelsea supporter must be disappointed.

Laughing You were saying it was over in January. You were sort of right, too.

Oh and Chelsea will still have to keep going Mrtz to get second, so hopefully they won't ease up too much in the league and focus on our game. That said they have the squad to be unaffected by resting players.

Chelsea can get a maximum of 87 points.

Man Utd are currently on 80 points, hence they only need 7 points from their 4 remaining games to win the title as the goal difference is too big for Chelsea to make up.

Therefore United can afford to draw at Blackburn AND lose to Chelsea and still win the title as long as they see off West Ham at home (dead cert, although Steely might argue that Wink ) and beat Wigan away. I know Wigan got a draw at Stamford Bridge tonight and at Anfield, but surely Man Utd's pace and movement would be far too much for their defence.

It's all over for sure.

The key to Utd winning the title was them going out and spending big money on the likes of Anderson, Nani, Tevez and Hargreaves. They caught the other clubs unaware by signing these players - I remember them signing Anderson and Nani very early during the close season. It's come good for them. They have so many options up front it's almost frightening.

Laughing What a legend!

I didn't even watch this because I reckoned it would have been an easy 3 points for Chelsea, but what a result!
