Villarreal strike deal for Real Sociedad's Nihat

Villarreal have struck a deal for Real Sociedad striker Nihat.

The Turkey international is off contract in the summer and Marca says he has committed to a four-year deal with the Yellow Submarines.

Nihat almost joined Spartak Moscow last month, before answering an SOS from Real to play out the season in San Sebastian following Darko Kovacevic's injury.

Pressed about the Villarreal deal, Nihat's representatives have refused to deny an agreement has been struck.
