Someone explain to me how Rooney can leave the ground two footed making no attempt for the ball clearly reacting to not having had things go his way, argue constantly with the ref and use foul and abusive language not only with the ref but the lino as well and not be sent off?

Nice to see that as I suspected the consistency has been kept up since Liverpool went to Old Trafford.

Why am I talking about that? Because this was a nothing match that basically came down to Liverpool beating a very poor side. That said, we are the kind of team you really don't want to play if you are the bottom because our game is to give teams NOTHING and we work as hard as anyone.

Enough of this... honestly. If the next post is regarding Gerrard diving when he wasn't even in this game, or anything related to that this will be locked.

Yeah, he has been a good team player over the years since Moyes spotted something in him and gave him a shot.

I wonder where Jimmy Bullard will go?

McBride isn't getting any younger. I want to see him back playing in the States before he retires, though.

Should be the crippling blow that sends Fulham out of the Prem. I thought they held their own and were looking to win it very early on... Pennant scoring that goal just killed it for them. Casey Keller is a shadow of his old self. He should just retire and stay home. Probably try and coach in the MLS.

I think Fulham need to shop Murphy if they want to even have a chance of surviving,he's become a liability.
His first three touches were routine no pressure situations and he turned the ball over.Mid field is a bad place for that type of play,it takes the sting off of the attack ,as the forwards have to have one leg ready to track back.Fulham were in this game for quite a while ,but inadequate play like that of Murphy just took the sting out.

BENITEZ RAGES AT BITTER NEIL WARNOCK

Rafa Benitez will take legal advice after Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock questioned his integrity and made a joke about Harrods hampers being sent to the Liverpool boss.

Warnock is still furious that Benitez fielded a weakened side at the end of last season at Fulham, the club owned by Harrods proprietor Mohamed Al Fayed.

Liverpool lost and Fulham stayed in the Barclays Premier League, one point ahead of Warnock's Sheffield United, who were relegated.

After another understrength Liverpool team had won 2-0 at Craven Cottage yesterday to push Fulham close to the Championship, Benitez reacted angrily to a mention of Warnock's morning newspaper column.

Eyes blazing, Benitez said: "Somebody told me [about Warnock's comments]. We knew he was bad as a manager and prehistoric, but we didn't know he was a person like this. I will speak to my lawyer. We don't need to waste time with him."

Warnock could also face disciplinary action from the Football Association for comments which seem likely to attract a charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

Warning Bolton to expect no favours from the Liverpool manager as they battled with Fulham to avoid the drop, the Crystal Palace manager said: "Integrity, doing what is right for the game, comes way down Rafa's list of priorities.
"Maybe Rafa gets a yearly hamper from Harrods for his team selections."

Benitez rested eight players for yesterday's game, which Liverpool won comfortably.

Ha, that's funny. Warnocks a c*ck - what a hypocrite. He rested a load of players against Manchester United last year as it was a game he didn't see them taking any points from, whilst they had a crucial game against relegation rivals Charlton the week following. How the hell can he talk about "integrity" as he has done?

I wish an interviewer would point that out, and make him look the fool he is.

Interviewers just want to stir up the controversy though Ben. They aren't decent enough to take credit themselves for throwing it back in his face, instead let it go like this so everyone hears about it.

Good shout Mertz, He had a good game. He got overconfident at one point though when running down the wing with space in-front of him, he tried to cut inside with one of them fancy back-heels but he made a mess of it and the ball went out of play.
