Yeah, he won;'t be going to Valencia now. He wanted to go there last summer, but Hamburg wouldn't sell him. It was a shame for Valencia, because after missing out on him they sign Manuel Fernandes who never did much there. Van der Vaart would've been amazing for them, and i think Valencia's season could've panned out very differently (assuming they didn't appoint Koeman).
Anyway, they've got financial problems, so they will have to sell some big names in the summer. There's not a chance that Van der Vaart will be there next season. |
