No....after a little research I reckon 1) 6 times 2) Newton Ladies , then Knowlesley United 3) Donny claim on their website that they are the oldest 1969 , but they changed their name recently so I will go for Cardiff who celebrated their 30th this year founded in 1978. My favourite team Southampton are older than any of these formed in 1966. Unless I am completely off beam and there were womens teams in the 1920s !

I've just read the Dick, Kerr's Ladies book, and the teams in the 1920s weren't in that list Smile

nope pat got the correct answer there clive

So, is it just Q3 left?

According to the book I mentioned, the FA allowed women's teams after the 1966 (men's) World Cup, so I'll guess that the first team of those was maybe in 1967.
I'll guess Blackburn.
