News from the catalan club is that both squad and backroom staff will feature a massive summer clearout...

Even Champions League success will not save certain people as Laporta has become irate at barcelona's erratic form throughout much of the campaign...

Although still only gossip rijkaard could be destined for the exit door with potential suitors ac milan and Chelsea waitning in the wings...

The squad will feel a massive upheval as defenders:
1. Thuram
2. Sylvinho
3. Zambrotta

Could all be leaving

Also defensive and attacking midfielders and forwards are also facing the chop these include

1. Ezquerro
2. Gudjohnsen
3. Deco
4. Ronaldhino
5. Edmilson
6. dos santos
7. Henry

Although most is rumours you cant help think theres an element of truth to the matter as barcelona are looking to revamp there squad...

Possible targets

1. Quaresma ( Still have an activation clause since they sold him to porto)
2. Kerlon ( exciting brazilian prospect)
3. Ibrahimovic ( seen as larsson's long term replacement)
4. Javi Martinez
5. Xabi Alonso
6. Cristiano Ronaldo (never gonna happen)

Sylvinho just signed a new one year deal with Barca so I am pretty sure that he won't leave Barcelona. In my opinion the first thing Barcelona has to do is that when the season ends they'll have to fire Rijkaard and get a new manager like you said.

Rijkaard is going. Mourinho or someone else is coming. I'd love Deco in a Man Utd shirt. He'd be a great signing for Arsenal too but they will never go for it.

I think that will leave the club Rijkaard, Ronaldinho, Ezquerro, Edmilson, Thuramkamon, Zambrotta, Deco. And there are other players that can leave or stay like Gudjohnsen, Henry, Oleguer, Marquez and Giovanni. Is very probable that the new coach will be Guardiola. And Quaresma won't return, with one season we had enough.

Why would they get rid of Dos Santos? He's only about 19, and has huge potential.

Rijkaard will be gone for sure. How will take over? I'd bet on it being Mancini.

Giovanni dos Santos isn't very good, who has a huge potential is Bojan and is only 17. Moreover, there is Gai Assulin, that soon will be in the first team. Barça won't sign Mancini, I think that if Barça win the Champions perhaps Rijkaard could continue and if don't then will be Guardiola and another option could be Laudrup.

Blimey, give the guy a break. He's a teenager ffs! How many teenagers at a team as huge as Barca succeed straight away?!

Other than Bojan.

Just look at Quaresma!! You saying he isn't very good?

Quaresma isn't good to play for Barça. When a young player coming from the youth system is good is easy to see in his first games, like Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, Messi,....

Also Quaresma is like Riquelme. He works better as the focus of a team and it takes some player to be the focus of Barcelona and Quaresma isn't that good.

I agree he was poor but he has matured alot but id love him at Liverpool but if we dont get him id like to see him at barcelona he's 10 times the player he was

you never no but failure in the Champions League you'd have to say rijkaard will leave....having one of the best squads in the world and not playing up to their very high standard for the past two years is not good enough

Haha, who progresses at the rate of those two though!!

Very few players. If that's the standard they set for their youth players, then there's no hope for 99.9%.
