I would love to hear from anyone with noteworthy sources as to where Michael Owen will end up next season. Will he be at Newcastle and sign a new contract over the summer, or will he leave for another club?

I don't think he'd fit at Arsenal and specially because Wenger doesn't want to buy David Villa, so why would he buy Michael Owen. I'd love to see Owen in a Man City shirt, to help build the team.

I reckon he will stay at St James's personally - don't think he'll be off anywhere.

Although i would like to see owen back at anfield i dont think benitez will spend the money on him.... i feel he owes Newcastle at least one full season as the real michael owen scoring freely agaisnt everyone (except Liverpool)...if he does leave he should hang his head in shame

In all honestly, who would want him? Fair enough, he's scoring a few at the minute but he's due another spell on the sidelines. Benitez/Wenger aren't foolish enough to through about £8m on a injury-prone has-been. He'll stay at Newcastle under King Kev

nobody would match his £120,000 a week.

Newcastle are welcome to him

What even made you think he would move? No one else would pay his wages and the next biggest club after Newcastle to take him would be Colchester...

He's scored 6 in 6 games - if he can keep that form up they'll gladly pay him £120,000 a week.

I don't think West Ham as a team have scored 6 in about 16.... Wink

And ALF, well done on repeating Steely's exact words Wink

huntelaar scored 32 in 33 matches...get payed less (i think) i think teams prefer younger players like huntelaar more instead of owen.

Its true though. Can you think of any clubs stupid enough to give wages that high to a crocked player? Even half of those wages? He is doing well now but I fear another injury could ruin his career. He is a favourite player of mine but I think it would be unwise for him to move away from Newcastle, he should finish his Premier League career there.

Hopefully one is heading out the door. *cough* Hoyte *cough* But we have a few in reserves ready to jump into the Carling Cup squad.

I just want to hear what they say, when another Frenchie gets signed. Laughing

All 13 people say he will be at Newcastle.
Arsenal is a laugh, Man City are supposed to be after Jo from Sexy, while Liverpool cant even afford to pay for Torres right now! Laughing
Maybe he might come to Leeds.

he can carry on scoring a goal a game(ratio), and we'll gladly carry on paying him £120,000 a week.

The only side he'd change Newcastle for would be Manchester City, because of Sven - the only manager willing to take a risk on him. They could probably afford him too.

Rolling Eyes

theres nothing quite like tunnel vision.

lets all ignore the millions and millions of pounds he has earned for doing precisely nothing and lick his d*ck now he has had a decent couple of weeks.

he'd have to bang home about 50 goals next season to even begin to repay the fortunes he has got for doind nothing

i agree hes gettin paid too much. but his form has helped make sure we stay up. not just his goals but hes the main man in our new formation, without him it wouldnt work. by keeping us up is he worth 120k a week? (or whatever because no one knows for sure). staying in the prem is worth 50million isnt it??
anyone that watched Newcastle before he hit form will say we were going down. luck has changed aswel but without him it would have been close...
