Argentinian striker Dario Cvitanich is set to move to Ajax in the summer, according to his current club Banfield.
A statement on the club's website claims Ajax will pay 6.5million euros for the 23-year-old, who holds joint Argentinian and Croatian nationality.
Cvitanich is expected to sign a contract for several seasons at the Amsterdam ArenA, although the deal is subject to a medical scheduled for later this week.
Ajax have so far refused to comment on any potential deal.
Cvitanich can play in several positions in attack, and has scored 24 goals in 75 games for Banfield.
