UCD & DCU Tryouts?

I am currently a senior in high school (secondary school) in Northern Virginia, USA. I will be moving to Dublin, Ireland at the end of June to eventually attend university at either UCD or DCU. I am an Irish citizen thanks to my dad and hope to spend many years living there. Very Happy

I am a goalkeeper for my high school and club team. I hope to play in Ireland as much as possible. My question is.... does UCD and/or DCU offer scholarships for soccer players specifically goalkeepers and whats the best why to tryout for the team? Cool

high there, sounds good.yes UCD have scholarships for football,not sure about DCU though.You have to be studying something in the college to play for UCD.they have trials.they had a good keeper in darren quigley.he has since moved to derry.good luck mate

Good luck with it! UCD would definitely be the better option if you're looking for football

Quigley seemed like quite a good keeper but as Paul said hes since moved to Derry.

Matt Gregg is their current keeper, I havent seen enough of him to really rate him. Here's his wikipedia profile..

i find matt gregg being at ucd weird.he is old enough.surely he cant be studying at the college
