I LOVE YOU BALLACK!!!!

I just hope Man U don't win the league on goal difference. That would be an awful way for Chelsea to not win it.

Chelsea never deserve to win the league.

Ha, if you say so.

Why would i say Chelsea don't deserve to win it, out of jealousy, when my more bitter of rivals Manchester United are the alternative? If Chelsea were 3 points ahead of Liverpool, 1st and 2nd respectively, then you might make sense.

I really have to question Grant not selecting Makelele for a match of this magnitude ,he's been solid the whole season. If he's saving him for CL then ok ,but Chelsea still ahve a chance to win the league and there are only a few games left to play.He cannot afford to leave Maka on the bench for the remainder of the season. All eyes must focus on the one game that has a chance of stopping United's claim for the league title,
West Ham.As i said earlier in the month this is the game that United will find tough outside of the Chelsea game.I see it as at least a draw if not West Ham squeaks it,Trust me.

What did you make of Wenger resting half his side for the Liverpool league game Specnur, sacrificing Arsenal's Premier League chances?

How can you question Grant when the team he picked beat Man United and are still in for a shout to win both League and the Champions League. He rested Makelele yet they win. Good play by Grant surely?

Also, why were Chelsea players wearing black armbands because of Frank Lampard's bereavement? Next we'll be having a minute's silence in a years’ time for the anniversary...

It's got nothing to do with football, is ridiculously excessive, and if we all start wearing black armbands for instances like the aforementioned then we may as well just sew them into teams' kits.

I know its supposed to be a sign of respect, but you don't have to publicly wear your show of respect, in order to respect a person or their loss.

They dont want everyone to do it, it was a personal gesture they decided upon as a team.

Surely its their choice, not like they even asked Man U to do it too.

Why do you begrudge them that?

Great second half to a match I didn't expect to be half as good as it was - I don't think United can complain too much overall, they didn't turn up in the first half and Chelsea did well to respond to their pressure.

Really annoying to see the Chelsea players surrounding the ref as someone mentioned, but United did also.
That needs to be stamped out.

Did you notice how John Terry had a personality transplant and was seen to be pulling his players back away from the referee? I'm sure it had nothing to do with Capello saying his captain must be a model professional on and off the pitch...

I actually found myself wanting United to win at one point, such are the [beeps!] at Chelsea.

Yeah, good point. Rio for captain? Not a chance after that. Way he was going on at the ref too was out of order.

I can't believe Ferguson was complaining that much about the penalty, Carrick could easily have avoided using the arm, it was a stonewall penalty.

Yeah, Whiskey nose should look back a few weeks at the William Gallas penalty at Old Trafford. He didn't complain about that one which all but mathematically ended Arsenals title hopes.

As for the game it looked like a cracker, i really wished I had watched it now. I caught some of it on match of the day and it seemed to have the lot. The players were so determined and you could see how much was at stake, it was great to see that kind of passion. Well done Chelsea!

Ugh, crap performance and Chelsea deserved the win.

Fergie and Quieroz were embarrassing after, I actually felt ashamed of them when I saw the interview...

Bad day all round.

I find it weird that the Chelsea groundstaff fought the united unused sub, are they trying to get them suspended for the last two games of the season?

I guess he was just the guy who got in the way of the groundstaff trying to do their job.

Anyone see Evra's face during the incident? He looked like he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting or something, his tongue was sticking out and his face was all puffy.

Indeed. But it's also about reasoning your opinion; failure to do that often gets you ridiculed. Wink Feel free to embellish, fella.

I suppose it isn't bad. I wouldn't say i begrudge them it, i just dislike it. I dislike the need to make a public gesture - it suggests to me they care more about how they're perceived, individually and as a team, rather than supporting Lampard in this time. I don't believe any gesture needs to be made public is all. It transpires as fake.

I'm also a little baffled by the coverage his mums' death has got too. That's perhaps what the 'excessive' remark stemmed from, even if indirectly related.

I don't think he had much of a choice, Arsenal never had enough of a squad to challenge or both at that point.

It's kinda funny how you say that yet i posted a similar instance of where you've totally ignored my post (made directly to you), despite posting in the same thread after it, and hence must have read it. Hypocrite, much?
