We are playing crap. Barely attacking even.

And Finnan was sleeping for the goal.

Really could of done with Pool winning here, but at least they clawed back a point and it keeps us above them with our point today.

The game really disappointed me to be honest. The players given a chance didn't start with the same enthusiasm that they'd shown in the Fulham match, and the first half was resultantly very poor. We looked very good later in the game and if we'd of started as lively as that, with the same intent, we'd of steam-rolled Birmingham.

I won't say much, except Pennant had another good game, Plessis didn't look quite as good as against Arsenal and Insua did well when he came on, making good runs and passes going forward... he linked up well with Crouch on a few occasions.

Jaidi standing near the penalty spot area and trying to distract Reina was odd for the Larsson free kick.

He did a similar thing against Everton for the free-kick Zarate scored, where he jumped up and down in front of Howard. This time he just stood in Reina's line of view.

How it's not classed as "interfering" with play, and hence offside, i don't know...

Pretty simalar to what I was going to say... from what I can remember of yesterday anyway.

We didn't get going until after Birmingham scored the second goal, we were very poor before that with Crouch only testing Taylor from long-range in the first half. I agree with you about Pennant and Plessis. Great run from Pennant for Crouch's goal and he made a few good runs during the game. Plessis couldn't get a crasp on the game and his passing wasnt good. He'll get his chance again against City if we beat Chelsea on wednesday.

In the end it was good that our under-strength side showed the charater to come from 2-0.
