You missed an Arsenal game for Karate? You're nuts. Razz

Overall performance wasn't good. We didn't play well; but then again, we didn't need to against Derby. Derby quite shockingly controlled the first 20-25 minutes of the match only to throw it away in an instant by giving up a goal.

Bender (I'm sorry, I mean Bendtner Razz) scored the first goal to get the ball rolling. Nice interchanging play with Van Persie. Van Persie finally got a goal in the run of play, he had acres of space in the 6 yard box, brought the ball down nicely and smashed it in while Derby defenders stood and watched. Walcott played on the left today and did well. Created his own goal. It was very Henry like, bringing the ball into the box and then cutting it inside and creating a little bit of separation and then burying it in the side netting on the far post. And Adebayor, what can I say ... second half hattrick. There was nothing Derby could do to stop him. His little dance celebration to mock Earnshaw's goal was brilliant. In the end I feel like everyone got on the score sheet in some way, either with a goal or the assist. Good thing that everyone was/got involved in the game (even though they didn't play great). And they were just out there having fun.

Woah, what a season Adebayor has had.

30 goals this season. Incredible.

Wonder if Steely was watching...

Still think he's sh*t?

His goals were pretty straight forward. He pretty much said that himself

Oh yeah, Ruud van Nistelrooy was sh*t in his first season in the premiership - the majority of his goals were simple.

Did you know ... Adebayor becomes the first Premier League striker to score two hat-tricks against the same club in the same season.

Good.

I'm glad that you acknowledge the hard working, increasingly prolific giant is a very good player.

Yes, it was against Derby, and yes they are a poor side. But all the other strikers in the league had their crack at the same Derby (not like they were good at certain parts of the season and horrendous in others). But none of them were able to do it.

But in a general scope of things, it's never been done before.

Sticky you need to get a grip mate. Hat trick against Derby and your hanging out of his ass again. Jesus Christ, I'd put 10 past that shower of sh*te.

Anyway, Derby must surely have cemented their place as being the worst team ever, anyway, ever. I could throw another 10 half wits together from work and we'd take them apart

They actually were in control of the first twenty or so minutes of this game yet once again their defending was absolutely embarrassing, my under 16s team wouldn't make these same mistakes week in and week out, Darren Moore and Alan Stubbs together are about as mobile as a tree and Savage doesn't really look like he gives a s*it.The Midfield give no protection through the middle for the Defence.

Derby are pathetic i know, but it's not so much his hat-trick against them i'm getting at - it's his total for the season. He has reached the big 30 mark. Even so, scoring a hat-trick against anyone is a good way to reply to those who have been criticising him in recent weeks.

Scoring 30 means nothing tho. It helps but means nothing when your team dosnt do that great. Just ask Mansfield Town striker Michael Boulding. Scored 22 goals yet his team got relegated

they should be sitting nicely before the tv fifteen minutes before the match begins..

i didn't manage to watch this live either.. but i followed the official highlight..

what a superb goal from walcott.. this little guy's going to be the next owen for england in the future.. Very Happy

nice goals from persie and bendtner.. but not for adebayor's.. just incase someone didn't notice how easy the goals he always scores all the time and there's nothing different with this so-called hattrick.. Mad

come on torres.. don't let him slip to the second top-scorer position easily.. Razz

it always makes me laugh when a player score two , there or 4 against a team .....and then someone says ...well they did play poor or it was against so an so .

A hatrick is hatrick is a hatrick .. you are not expected to score 5 or 6 past Liverpool (Carling Cup aside) or hammer 3 or 4 past Man Utd or Chelsea , vary rare if someone does .

I have seen hatricks scored against Arsenal where one has been a dubious penalty decision and one of them was a deflected lucky goal ....so is that a more fantastic acahievement then if a player gets a spectacular hatrick against the bottom club or one playing badly ..

I`m sure Man Utd fans are not bothered who Ronaldo has scored against ...he has just scored 28 so far this season in the league ...

I am happy if Adebayor scores ...whoever against ..

i thought considering how badly we played, the score was great Smile i think that if we'd been playing against a half decent team we'd have lost by alot.

i think that Song is gonna be incredible within the next couple of years, i spot a lot of potential there and i hope he manages to keep it up. i was really really pleased that RVP finally gotta goal from open play after 7 months! shame he missed a couple of easy chances though and that he went off at half time.

and im really glad that Adey got a hatrick, as hes in my FF team Cool very unhappy that we let Earnie score past us though, shocking! nice to see Fabianski in goals, although he looked nervous as hell for the whole match, bless him. all in all a good result though Smile

You didn't see him playing for Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations? It was the boys coming out party. He impressed all across the pitch and even made it into the Best XI of the tournament. Smile

i think Song has been with us for a while now ....i thought at first he was shocking and hopeless with the ball , he has got better i admit but still unsure if he is good enough for the first team .

He's been with us since 2005/2006 where we took him on loan from SC Bastia where we then signed him to a permanent deal. We also have to keep in mind that he's only 20 years old.
