Brian McBride to play for Fire? or Toronto FC

Word is McBride is interested in play for the Fire. He's currently with Fulham who are most likely going to be relegated at the end of the season. The catch though, is that Toronto FC has first dibs on him (don't know why or the stipulations behind this).

Brian McBride is interested in playing for the Fire and technical director Frank Klopas seems extremely interested in signing him. Still, McBride might choose to play with Fulham another year. And even if he does leave Fulham, he might ask for designated-player money, which might be more than the Fire is willing to offer. But the biggest obstacle could be the fact that Toronto FC gets first dibs on McBride.

I would gladly take McBride if he decided to leave Fulham, if we were still up that is. He's a fearless leader, great in the air and on the floor. Very underrated by many i would say.

Your last game is against Derby. You should at least get 3 points there and get to 36 and Tottenham this weekend which is a toss up but most likely 0 points there. Birmingham have Fulham and Blackburn. It's going to be tight.
