Arsenals season is over and they have nothing to play for, and were poor against Derby. Everton still need points to guarantee 5th spot and a UEFA cup place, I can't see anything other than an Everton win.

Arsenal are defending an 11-match unbeaten home league record against Everton.

The Toffees have only picked up one point from a last possible 33 in away league games against Arsenal, from the 1-1 draw in last season's corresponding fixture.

The Toffees last returned from Highbury with three points on 20 January 1996. The 2-1 victory, in which Graham Stuart and Andrei Kanchelskis scored, is Everton's only Premier League maximum, away to the Gunners.

They've only lost once (in any competitive match) and that was last year against West Ham.

3-1 to Arsenal. Pressure is off Arsenal and is definately on Everton to finish in a Uefa Cup spot.

Wenger has said he's gonna continue with the youngsters for this game, so i dont feel too positive about it!

that's my point.. they can't move anywhere.. so no point to force themselves in getting points.. it'd be nice to give the youngsters like gorgeous walcott chances to play more instead.. Razz

If the mancs lose today then we will have everything to play for! i know its only a slim chance, but there IS still a chance of winning the prem so why not try till the very end! i dont think the team would go out thinking...oh well, we cant move anywhere so lets not try and get any points. they'll want to win every game, regardless of whether there is a reward. but thats just what i think Smile

Pretty even First Half IMO. A couple of chances to either sides but no goals until now...

Adebayor had two chances with one shot on target(Howard saved it) and Gilberto put 3 headers off-target...

Eboue is having a poor game IMO. Walcott is also very silent... But Song is playing well IMO...

Maybe a goal or two in the second half. I still think it'll be a 1-1 draw...
