After seeing the incident with Nani again I also agree that Neil did nothing wrong in my opinion!

I'm more concerned about West Ham's defending as we were an embarrassment to watch all game..

The end of the season can't come quick enough for me as far as I'm concerned and I imagine the players!

On a final note it was nice to see Man U's fans applaud Ashton for his over head goal and my fellow
West Ham fans applaud Tevez for that beautiful strike he scored with...We will always remember him.

Yeh it was good to see Tevez hugging his old team mates and enjoying some banter with them ebfore the start of the game, I laughed when he tugged Zamora's earlobe haha!

Don't know how we've managed to hold onto 10th position for so long!

Neil was as bad as Nani for pretending to be pole-axed by a brush from Nani's head. That was no head butt.....a true head butt leaves it's mark......broken nose, bloody nose, black eye. Miraculously Neil got up off the ground unharmed with no visible marks. He is a pansy and a cheat for going down like that in order to get a fellow professional sent off.

You're totally biased towards United as usual, Nani headbutted Neil then drops to the ground as if hes the victim and yet you can still find a way to defend him. Fair enough Neil probably should have stayed on his feet butyou cant say he was as bad as Nani

Yeh you can't blame him for dropping to his feet too and when the other officials stepped it I think that says it all really.

i wasn't really focused on watching this match due to my medication.. but was happy because we won the match and even we scored another one with only ten players.. yeay..

is your 'medication' crack by any chance?? thats the only way i can get my head around you suggesting Neill should have been sent off. little niggly things like what Neill did go on all over the pitch probably 100 times. its part of the game. Nani is just a silly little mug who walked right into it. he 'started the issue' by a playful pinch. if you think thats equal to a headbutt id hate to be pinched by you.

i dont really think myself or other West Ham fans really give a sh*t about how our club is viewed by other people. we are what we are. we did indeed give Tevez a fantastic reception, as he did to us again, and not many clubs can say that. however we did it for him, not to gain your respect or admiration.

right... you're a clever one. lets get this right. Neill, who was headbutted, was as bad as Nani, who did the headbutting, because he exaggerrated the pain said headbutt caused even though Nani himself went down like a sack of sh*t after being the one to administer the butt?

Pint of bias please landlord..

a pansy and a cheat? look a bit closer to home mate. even you whiny od jock manager said he had no complaints. Nani went down like he had been shot after he headbutted somebody. id say that makes him much more of a pansy and a cheat. what was Nani trying to do by going down like that? surely not trying to get a fellow professional sent off? pull your head out of your arse mate for crying out loud. never have i heard such drivel.

-----------------------------------

all in all another lacklustre display from a team with evidently nothing to play for. the result was obvious, any other outcome would have been sheer embarrassment for Man United.

fantastic goal from Ashton who, in recent weeks, has shown glimpses of what he is capable of. he just needs a decent team around him which we are not at the moment.

to summarise....

the sooner this pathetic season is over the better.

i know losing is hurtful.. but there's no need to freak out.. geez..

the ref should've looked into the problem from the very beginning who started the problem.. it's not like you're going to get away with some little thing you did that ended up in a fight.. to be fair.. both should be sent off.. it reminded me of zizou's case long time ago.. what a shame.. if the losing team players use that kind of trick to get the winning team players sent off's accepted.. then i've got nothing else to say..

did you read my 'lol'?.. i did put a lol in the end of my sentence.. and if you're too angry to view my post properly.. please just ignore it.. for the sake of anything..

scoring a superb goal against your former team isn't an easy thing.. and that's why hammers supporters respected it.. and i didn't say that ashton's goal's a shiet one either.. it's a great one.. thinking the way how he scored it..

however.. we can't make all people love our team.. so why bother about that?.. Confused

we lose every other week, its not really hurtful, im used to it. certainly not when its a game yuo never expect to win in the first place Confused

that is absolutely ridiculous. do you genuinely think neill should have been sent off? i cant even begin to tell you everything that is wrong with what you are saying. nani is supposed to be a grown man, a professional. he should be used to little tricks like that. it was harmless. do you not think Man United players do the same thing? you dont think Neville, Keane, Scholes, Rooney do/did exactly the same thing every week to name just a few? Zidane was the same for that incident, idiotic. theres no other explanation. youy think its only losing teams that do those tricks? you have obviously never played football and really should open your eyes to what goes on during a game.

did you read my 'lol'?.. i did put a lol in the end of my sentence.. and if you're too angry to view my post properly.. please just ignore it.. for the sake of anything..

its not anger, its despair. the 'lol' was for when you was going on about West Ham supporters and tevez. the 'lol' doesn't really mean anything anyway. you still clearly feel that Neill should have been sent off. you describe Neill's actions as 'pathetic' and yet make no comment on Nani. that is 'pathetic'.

scoring a superb goal against your former team isn't an easy thing.. and that's why hammers supporters respected it.. and i didn't say that ashton's goal's a shiet one either.. it's a great one.. thinking the way how he scored it..

i didnt mention ashton's goal to you and i certainly never said you criticised it? tevez's goal was respected because he scored it after showing us, as a club, nothing but love and respect. whether he scored or not he would have had the same reaction.

however.. we can't make all people love our team.. so why bother about that?.. Confused

i wouldnt want people to 'love' my team. i want people to either support them or nothing at all. i dont want a 'fondness' for the club from anybody

not really.. you're quite a mediocre team.. you beat us in the first home match last time..

not for me.. technically yeah.. but since the ref always looked at the worst side.. then it's obvious that nani's the one who'd to leave the pitch.. he's wrong to do the headbutting.. yeah.. i never said anything that implied that he should've still been on the pitch after the incident.. as far as i concern.. words are harmless.. and you can't really prove them.. but actions.. need to be more aware of.. i wouldn't even claim a card for neill if he just spoke something.. but he did something.. that's the problem..

so you think a casual pinch is the equivalent of a red card offence? thats insane. absolutely insane.

of course the blame is on Nani. he headbutted an opponent. even ferguson had no complaints and thats saying something.

i dont think im being biased in saying that Lucas Neill should not have been sent off. i think im being logical.

id love to see how many people would actually suggest what Neill did was a red card offence. i reckon if i asked 1000 people only 1 would say it should be a red card. that one person wouyld be you.

Personally, I think we should forget this whole Nani/Neill deal because we're never gonna agree on what happened. And we are forgetting the most important moment of that game...Carlton Cole without his top on! Phew! Who knew what was under that beautiful claret and blue shirt Wink

Yum!

You've obviously never played any type of sports. There's always taunting among players, it's a part of the game. You get under the skin of the opponent to get an advantage. YES Man United do it too.

Nani is a scum. To think what Nani did reminded you of Zidane and Materazzi is a disgrace. Especially with the little acting job Nani did after his slight headbutt. "oh I headbutted you, but hurt myself in the process." Total joke. At least when Ronaldo headbutted someone (earlier this season and got himself a red card) he stood his ground and didn't act like a pansy.

that's why i mentioned in another thread that saying Gunners would beat toffees for 3-0 was like saying we're trashing the hammers.. which's impossible to happen.. but then we've got the unexpected result of 4-1..

then why'd such a pro player do that?.. i believe it's not a part of the tactic.. you know.. pinching people and then raising the arms to start things up.. where's the fair play?..

lucky fergie didn't say anything.. otherwise he might've been condemned as well..

yeah.. it's me who's being biased and not talking sense.. my bad..

thanks.. i prefer not being in the crowd most of the time..

have a nice day.. the league's soon over anyway..

thanks smurfy.. that's a good shout out after a while.. sometimes my words are hard to understand and i can't be bothered to explain thoroughly..

call any Man Utd players by any names you wish.. certainly nani's better in one thing.. he didn't headbutt his own teammates and i'm somehow 'happy' for that..

kthxby
