Good win for Nadal against Karlovic today. There was no break of serve and Nadal was the one who had 2 break points I think and Karlovic didn't even had a single break point.

3 Tie breaks with Karlovic winning the first one and Nadal winning the next 2...

Nadal won 6-7 7-6 7-6...

Karlovic hit some 35 Aces in the match I think...

He should be very well rested for the Nadal clash then. Rodders is gonna need all the help he can get.

It will be a great semi final. You can tell by watching Nadal's last match that he really wants to win, but can Roddick stop him....

Lets see. Nadal has improved his overall game a lot than last year. His backhand is now as good as his forehand and his forehand pass with a lot of topspin is now more deadlier than ever. He used that against Karlovic a few times. Also he didn't give Karlovic even a single break point so he's serving well and good. I think Roddick has to come to the net to put Nadal on the back foot as I don't think he can out-rally Nadal from the baseline even in Grass. It'll be a tough and fascinating match to watch IMO and lets see who comes out as the best...

Nadal is very very hungry to take the Wimbledon crown from Federer and this win at the Artois will be an enormous boost to his confidence...

You were right about that Floody... Nadal was simply too good for Roddick even though Roddick played well. But Nadal is in great form atm and I fancy him to go on and win the tournament even if he plays against Djokovic...

Nadal won in straight sets against Roddick... 7-5 6-4

If Nadal wins this tournament, I think Federer has got a huge task in his hands of overcoming Nadal(provided both comes to the finals of course) if he wants to win the Wimbledon again and its going to be mighty tough than last year...

Knowing Roddick. He'll loose. Again.

Again? he's won it 4 times out of the last 5 years! he won today anyway Very Happy by default...but a wins a win!

He'll most likely lose if he comes up against Nadal or Djokovic Razz. He always seems to fail when up against a big opponent hence he's only ever won one Grand Slam. And the 2003 U.S. Open was a gimmie for him, as Federer failed to make it into the final bracket and Agasi lost in the semi's.

.....but he'll always be the prettiest Smile

Laughing

Told ya he'd loose to one of the big boys. Wink Razz

Djokovic v Nadal final. Very Happy
