New Topics - Think about it! |
|
Hi All,
The quality of forum topics and posts have gradually deteriorated in the last few months, and we need to turn this around. When creating new topics - especially on football matters, can you please try writing the whole post yourself, instead of quoting news articles from elsewhere. I don't mind on accasions where it would benefit the post, however we are seeing to many topics being created which are boderline pants! I have created a topic in the International section regarding Capellos England Objectives, which I have also posted on the main page of football.co.uk, and this is something that I want to be doing going forward. This will hopefully encourage new members who read the homepage to join up and take part in the topic you have created. When creating a topic on football, try not to be too objective in your first post. Make a post asking questions....for example:
This was just off the top of my head - but you can see how easy it is. I have not posted my opinion on it at all, and have left it open for debate and discussion. This could then go straight onto the homepage for people browsing the site to sign up and take part in the discussion. There are people on here who can write fantastically well. There are others who have great knowledge of football, then there are the Arsenal fans who have neither - jk! Could we all please make an extra effort when making new topics - especially football related ones. Much Appreciated Shane |

When you are about to type a post click the quote button at the top and then click it again when the quote has finished.

You use the following bb code
