Reports have linked Eriksson with Mexico's vacancy. This will be his second time being a manager of an international side, first being England. Mexico have been searching for a successor to the sacked Hugo Sanchez for the past month. Other candidates include Javier Aguirre, Jose Pekerman, Luiz Felipe Scolari, and even the 'Special One' himself - Jose Mourinho.

With the inevitable sacking of Ericksson at Man City, there's been numerous reports of where Ericksson could end up. Benfica being the most talked about. But now with Mexico popping up in the discussion. Can he succeed in Mexico?

Thaksin has continued to state that Eriksson has not been sacked, but does insist that the position is up for review at the end of the season. Many believe they will part ways, with Luiz Felipe Scolari and Jose Mourinho (again) strongly linked to the position.

Actually is now the manager of the mexico national team.

Must be some bird he is seeing in mexico. Cant see any logical reason why he would be there manager. Even the fans of mexico did not want him and some players.

Now that it's official. He has a lot of young talent to work with. It'll be interesting to see what he can do with Mexico.
