Bristol City have confirmed they have spoken to striker Marcus Stewart's agents about a move to Ashton Gate.
The Bristolian, 32, has been released by Sunderland and wants to move to the club he supported as a boy.

"He's a quality player and when they come along and want to play for your club it becomes attractive," manager Brian Tinnion told BBC Radio Bristol.

"Hull last year signed Nick Barmby, while Tranmere signed Jason McAteer and it shows that you mean business."
