Federer may of played him on hard court but don't hold me to that. He's never played him grass or clay before.

My final predictions :

Mens: Federer v Nadal

Womens : Ivanovic v Kuznetsova

Winners: Federer and Kuznetsova

Don't worry Raul mate. Nadal will win here for the 4th successive time and no Federer or Djokovic can stop him from doing that... Seriously, he's destroying his opponents until now. But who knows. Lets see what is going to happen. I have a lot of confidence in Nadal winning it...

As for the Women's title, its very very tough to even predict a winner, but I'll go with Ivanovic as she is playing some good tennis in the tournament...

@smithy. Thanks for the info... Should be an exciting match with Federer showing his wide array of shots against Monfils who is a fantastic Athlete trying to run all over the court and riding heavily on crowd support. I'll never ever count-out a crowd favourite as they somehow do things that they normally won't do. But Federer will prevail and go through IMO...

Well now we have the Ladies Final lineup. Safina vs Ivanovic. Both the semi-finals were good to watch with good tennis played all around. Safina was unbeatable today as Kuznetsova struggled a lot with her Service. The other semi-final was a very tight encounter with Ivanovic winning in 3 sets...

IMO Ivanovic will win her first grandslam of her career on Saturday... Also Congrats to Ivanovic on achieving the World No.1 place...

You have no idea how much I want Federer to win this elusive trophy. Nadal just keeps getting in his way Rolling Eyes

I finally got to see a full match today , and what a match I picked. The two Serbs going head to head. Ivanovic really picked up her game in the third set. The power and shots she was creating was excellant. I feel nerves got to her in the latter stages of the second set.

I'm surprised Safina is in the final , but I'm really looking forward to it on Saturday. I just hope nerves don't get in the way for either player.

Congratulations also to Ana for clinching the world number spot. Fully deserved Very Happy

The men's final will be between Nadal and Federer. As both come through their s\f matches against Djokovic and Monfils.

Monfils looks like he's gonna be a really good player.

It's a long time i've not watched a tennis match, Monfils (Myson in English) will be a good player. He is a good runner, now if he has a better game and he will be very good.

The first match between Nadal and Djokovic was not that good. it was all Nadal for most of the time except during the early stages and in the final stages of the 3rd set. After the 2nd set was over, it was almost over for Djokovic. It was only a matter of when the match will be over. But full marks to Djokovic in trying to force the game to a 4th set by coming back from 3-0 down to force a tie breaker. But then he ran out of steam as Nadal marched on to a 6-0 lead in the tie breaker... It was a routine kinda match for the Spaniard and he was not tested to his limit.

But the second match between Federer-Monfils was fantastic. As I predicted, Monfils was running around and making Federer to play at his best all the time trying to make winners and drop shots and passes and winners on the stretch. Man that was good to watch. Also unusually Roger used a lot of drop shots to take points as Monfils was successfully chasing all the balls from the baseline. Roger's reaction after the match said it all. It was not that routine expression from him. He was incredibly relieved to have won it and he was jumping around to the net.

Now this finals will be a cracking one IMO. But Nadal should edge it out. He hasn't dropped a set until now and he's unbeaten at Paris. It should be a good matchup anyway...

Now I'm looking forward to the Ladies' finals and for Ivanovic to lift her first grandslam of her career... Very Happy

Unfortunately it's not going to happen. Nadal is having too easy of a time thus far.

Ivanovic is breezing through the final right now.

Safia looks like she's losing it, she looks really frustrated.
