Saw the first half of the Atletico - Valencia game. Great goal, but the rest of the first half was pretty boring. Anything good happen in the 2nd half?

Sorry i missed Barca's match though. Eto'o must have been on fire! Scored twice and created the third!

I didn't watch first half of Atletico - Valencia, second half was not incredible but Atletico had some chances to score.

Wow! A hat-trick for RVN, even though he missed a penalty! I still can't believe Ferguson managed to alienate and push away such a great striker. Managing people doesn't really seem to be his forte.

He has made a career out of his man management. Shocked

Maybe we shouldn't derail this thread, but although i agree he's been good at keeping some talented players at the club i'd also say he's managed to drive away a few as well (see Beckham, RVN, Stam etc). In all occasions those players left as a result of tension between them and their coach.

Maybe i should rephrase my statement to "managing people doesn't really seem to be his forte anymore".

Atletico Madrid 1 - 1 Racing Santander

Madrid have missed the chance to go top temporarily after their shock loss to Villareal.

So Barca and Sevilla on top and Real several points behind... Has Barcelona played the match they missed for the Club World Cup?

Amazing. He's back, he plays in the former team and he scores and still is the best of the match. Go Becks! Capello and the president may help you but the real supporters will always be with you!!

PS. Another boring match of Real Madrid Rolling Eyes Even Casillas, who is always one of the few who does right his work, had an important mistake.
