Another convincing win for Arsenal and they had a player sent off. 7-0 last week, 5-0 this week, is there any stopping these girls? I jsut wondered when can they win the league? If they havent already

Arsenal ladies are now 9 points ahead of Everton who are in third place, with 3 games left for Everton.
Taking into account Arsenal's goal difference of 59 compared with Everton's 20, realistically, Everton are out of it. Charlton are in second place. they had 4 games left before today and play at Arsenal on Thursday and a game at Everton TBA, also 2 other away fixtures. As they were 5 points behind, if Arsenal win on Thursday and the final game of the season at Doncaster, then Arsenal will be champions irrespective of whatever Charlton do in their other matches. And, note, it was an Everton player (Fara Williams) who was sent off today - things could well have well turned out differently without that. |

I was disappointed with Fara while she was on the pitch i guess i expect mpre from the international players? Same goes with Unitt my lord sis Sanderson outrun and out do/trick her time after time!
I was hoping the sending off would give the blues more of a well needed kick but it seems the Arsenal half time talks really do the trick! I left at three nil. I wonder if it ever gets dull winning all the time? As a spectator i would like to see a more even game from time to time which im hoping the Charlton game on Thurs will be. Be good to see the girls seal it at home this week x |
