1990 FA Cup final replay...bawled my eyes out

I wouldn't mind, but losing 1-0 to a spawny defenders goal after the fantastic semi and the brilliant first match in the final, not a good way for the cup run to end.

Not to mention that game changed football history.

Popular rumour was that if Fergie didn't win the cup, he would get the bullet. The next season they won the cup winners cup, then the league and never looked back, dominating for ten years. How differently things could have turned out!

*starts sobbing again*

Thanks for opening up that old wound again! Sad

I'm not sure if I literally cried but when Australia beat Uruguay in the penalty shoot-out which qualified us for the last WC I was ecstatic. Ditto Istanbul, though I think I was more stunned than emotional.

I cried from happiness when we went the entire season unbeaten and cried from sadness when we lost the Champions League final to Barcelona.

I cried when the Jets won the A-League this year and not afraid to admit it Razz

If you supported the teams I support (not just football) you'd understand why. It was my first ever cup success in any sport since i've been alive.
