Chelsea are ready to splash out a stunning £50 million to land Real Madrid captain Raul.
DiarioSport says Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is determined to land a global name in the summer and after rejections from Samuel Eto'o (Barcelona), Andrei Shevchenko (AC Milan) and Ronaldinho (Barcelona) has set his sights on Raul. Abramovich knows Raul is unsettled at Madrid, where he has admitted he will leave "if the board should tell me to" and has struggled for regular first team action under caretaker coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro. Chelsea are reported to made an approach for Raul before Abramovich last bid to prise Shevchenko away from Milan last month. How can Liverpool be trying to get Raul for nothing and Chelsea willing too spend £50 million? |

I'm the biggest fan of Raul and I have to admit that 5o million of pounds is TOO MUCH for Raul. That Abramovich is crazy... However, I would never sell Raul, no matter the money a team can offer.
