Chelsea are tracking Lecce's Italian youth international Vittorio Triarico.
The Blues have implemented a worldwide scouting campaign since Frank Arnesen was installed at the club.
The Dutchman is in charge of recruiting for
Chelsea and has already scouted dozens of bright young things.
Spanish 15-year-old Sergio Tejera agreed a switch from Espanyol only last month and now Triarico looks to be in their sights.
Triarico was scouted by
Chelsea last month when he played for Italy against England, Russia and Bulgaria in the European Under-17 Championship.
The whole group was played in England around the Sheffield area and
Chelsea took the chance to scout the pool and it was winger Triarico that is understood to have impressed.
Reports in Italy are now suggesting that
Chelsea have already made contact with Lecce over Triarico's availability and it would seem a quick deal could be brokered if the teenager decides a move to England is what he wants.
