Sergio Ramos has been better than Pepe throughout the season and has stayed injury-free, so why isn't he included instead of Pepe?

I don't think Sergio Ramos has had a very good season. He's been the player who has seen more yellow cards in La Liga, and that's not a good record.
But Pepe (exclusing the injury) has been awesome, absolutely brilliant. He was the key to defeat Barcelona away and some other big teams, a total rock.
I think the portuguese defend (Carvalho+Pepe) is the best in the world right now.
