Are you in a really bad football team?

Danny Robins Music Therapy is a new comedy show coming to BBC Radio 4 this autumn.

Host Danny Robins wants to make the world a better place and solve people's problems using just the power of music. So, we're looking for people with problems they need solving - it could be anything: trying to give up smoking, unrequited love, problems with DIY or hating your boss.

One subject we'd love to cover is trying to improve a football team's fortunes somehow using the power of music. We're trying to find a football team - it could be 5-a-side, 11-a-side, a schools team, a pub team - basically any amateur team who have just had or are in the middle of a terrible season. And by terrible I mean losing pretty much every week!

Are you in or do you know of such a team? Are you up for a laugh? We'd love to hear from you.

If you're interested please go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/comedy/musictherapy.shtml to get in touch. You may be the team we’re looking for!

Thanks - Ben Walker, Producer: Danny Robins Music Therapy

Ronaldinho's been partying a lot lately, but I don't think that has helped him Wink

Hello

Thanks for your suggestions thus far. I am in fact a Derby County fan - so coming up with a musical solution to their problems might be a bit too close to home. Plus, now we've bought Nathan Ellington, we probably won't need any musical help. That last sentence was a joke.

I'd still be really interested to hear from anyone who is in a football team (5 a side, 11 a side) who lose much more than they win or even draw. You can either post below - or do feel free to email me at musictherapy@bbc.co.uk .

Thanks

Too bad your not in Australia. My team needs a shake up big time haha. I'm a goalkeeper now playing forward because we never score but concede very little. (Except when i was suspended for 4 games we lost 16-1, 8-0, 7-0 and 11-2 Laughing )

I'm a Real Oviedo fan,

so I guess we fit quite well, although we didn't lose every week Sad

Boris and dubovsky,

I'm afraid I'm going to need to find a British team - but thanks for your thoughts and all the best next season!

well Music is a big part of my life but in fact,I don't think it can solve people's social problems.
it can relax my soul and can forget my problems for a while but our problems will be keeping on continueing until the world stops turning Laughing

'Big Revolution' - you're possibly right. However, I'm producing a comedy radio programme, so I'm on a quest to find entertaining ways in which music can make a difference!

For past programmes we've set up an in-store DJ in a fishmongers to drum up custom, written a rap to cheer up persecuted traffic wardens and performed a 'Band Aid'-style anthem to raise awareness of dormice with premature baldness (don't ask). Shocked

In the same way, we'd like to try and use the power of music to improve a bad football team's fortunes on the pitch. I can't guarantee it will work - but we'd have a lot of fun trying. Very Happy

About 4 years ago my team lost every single game in the league season! but this season we won the league, only losing 2 games and drawing 1 and winning 15 with a goal difference of +48. Bit of a contrast there now
