I think one of the big 3 will draw against Romania. But all games should be very tight with few goals.

It's impossible to tell. I even think Romania have enough to make it through! Why not? They've no pressure but do have a good side.

France Holland Romania I think the main battle will end up being between the French and Dutch. The French have a little more experience and attacking versatility to go through. Should be the most interesting group though. |

Italy.
They go into the Euro's as World Champions and should be capable of getting a performance or two in. Holland I would love to go through, but some mixed results along the way. France have no Zidane, what they do have is a lot of talented new players, who might need a bit longer to gel. Romania are the outsiders and not too bad. All the teams will have the pressure to beat them and thus go into games expecting to not win, which is a great advantage for a decent team. 1. Italy 2. Romania 3. France 4. Holland |

1.Holland (Group of death, some fantastic youngsters need to keep their heads though)
2.Italy (Strong defence but can they supply Toni with the goals?) 3.France (Didn't look to great in the qualifiers but have a good mix of experience and youth) 4.Romania (If the other teams struggle against each other they could sneek through, would be a surprise) |

Group C The group of death!...we cant have a tournament without one!
1...Italy 2...France 3...Holland 4...Romania Italy the world cup winners will just have enough to come out on top as group winners and in Luca Toni an old fashioned type striker who may just end up top scorer in the tournament.. Keep an eye on Roma's Daniel di Natalie who will impress...such a shame Totti won't be taking part. France one of the luckiest teams ever both times when they won France 98 and Euro2000...Could go all the way with the wonderful Frank Ribbery on song and new star striker Karim Benzima of Lyon There derfence could be their weak point with a dodgy keeper and the almost retired Lillian Thuram. I love watching the Dutch playing football and their fans make a great atmosphere during football games but I just cant see how they are going to beat the Italians or French to get out of this tough group....If Ruud Van the diver Nistleroy can keep on scoring and Arjen Robben turns it on I could be proved wrong! I think Romania are just happy to be taking part in this tournament after a long absence and will give it there all with the talented Contra,Chivu and Adrian Mutu but sadly they will be going home early....... |

Yes I know who the French had in their teams both in 98 and 2000 but still say they were lucky... In France 98...They needed golden goals,penalties and biased refs to reach the final and then had the Ronaldo "incident" when he shouldnt have played in that game which upset Brazil's players and they were so shocked none of them bothered to play which let the french win....... In Euro 2000 Italy were 1 minute away from winning when up pops Sylvan Wiltord to equalise in injury time to force extra time and then David Trezeget scores the winner to win the tournament. The Italians deserved to win that final as they played the better football but the lucky French stole it. Even Napolean Bonaparte was lucky...How many times should he have been hung when he lost a battle!! Ok I'm getting carried away here and don't want to be accused of being anti frog I mean French...... |

Every team has their close shaves. They are playing the worlds best, they can't be expected to just walk over any Brazil side these are great teams so yes the games will be close. |
