Personally, i think Spain will win this group, with Greece or Sweden getting second, Russia will be last i think.

Hopefully Spain can finally get rid of their reputation of being under performers in major tournaments, at Euro 2008. When you look at their team with players like Casillas, Puyol, Fabregas, Torres, Villa etc. they should at least get to the semis if not the final.
I fancy Sweden to take second, they're a tough team to play against and always seem to make it past the group stages in big tournaments. |

I think russia is gonna end on the 1st place. because hiddink is the manager..and he is always doing a good job.

Sweden are going to win the group and I wouldn't be surprised if Spain didn't qualify to the next round - they almost drew to USA

Even though the Swedish squad is quite aged they do represent a good bet to progress. Greece i think will crash out trying to defend their tournament.
The way Russia progressed through with the skin of their teeth makes me ponder whether it's one of those made-to-be stories... like Denmark in 1992. Although not to that extent! However, after learning Arshavin is suspended for the first two games i think they'll struggle. I could see Spain struggling to begin with but doing just enough to get through - then imporving round-by-round. 1. Sweden 2. Spain 3. Greece 4. Russia |

Russia and Sweden to go through

Spain, but I say that lightly
Great players, but their team is now called England. Greece are holders and with the same manager, which means they can defend against the top teams, but come undone against a Russian side who can easily pick them off. Russia without Arshavin for the 1st two games, but expect a performance on his last group game return. Sweden have been pretty rubbish of late. 1. Spain 2. Russia 3. Greece 4. Sweden |

All of these teams are good enough to do well.
I can't choose who will go through, but i think Greece will finish bottom. |

it's a very open group where all 4 could go through, I have put Russia and sweden but it could be russia and greece as well.

1.Spain (Can't see them not winning this group although their defence could let them down)
2.Sweden (Always there or thereabouts with some good players) 3.Russia (Some great youngsters not sure if they have enough though) 4.Greece (They'll be trying hard to defend their crown but may not have enough quality to qualify) |

Yes, I know Spain have a lot of quality players they recently beat us as well, we were in red and they were in gold , [beep!] Adidas there, but this group is really tight. |
