Jan Koller has confirmed that he will retire from international football when Czech Republic's Euro 2008 campaign draws to a close. Koller is now 35-year-old and he has stated nothing will change his mind in the matter. He is the Czech Republic record holder in goals with 52.
He has one year remaining on his contract with Nuremberg who have been relegated to the German second tier and rumors are afloat that he will leave the club or retire fully from football. A possible move to his first club, Sparta Prague has also been talked about for the striker to finish his career.
He has recently been deployed as a lone striker in a successful 4-5-1 formation for the Czech Republic.
