Bayern Munich say Willy Sagnol is "untransferable" and have denied allegations he is on his way to the Premiership.
Apparently
Arsenal and United are both interested in signing the Frech full-back. Although Sagnol seems keen on a move abroad, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is adamant that he is staying with the German giants.
"He is under contract with us until June 30, 2006," said Rummenigge. "I read English clubs are aiming for him, but I can assert to you we will release him for nothing in the world. He is untransferable.
"Nowadays he is recognised on a worldwide level, and it is thanks to Bayern Munich. When he played at Monaco, no one knew him."
The Bundesliga champions are set to offer Sagnol a new improved contract and clearly want him to commit his future to the club who bought him to prominence.
