Due to Kaka's failure to recover from a knee injury, Kaka has been withdrawn from the Brazil squad for World Cup qualifier matches against Paraguay and Argentina.

San Pablo midfielder Hernanes was called up in his place.

Brazil will play against Venezuela next Friday (13th of June) in a friendly as a warmup to the qualifiers.
