The second of our co-hosts gets their tournament underway tomorrow, against the darkhorses with oddly high expectations.
I don't think Croatia will do as well as expected, but Austria really are the weakest side in the tournament by some way. They're the only poor nation in my opinion. The Croats without Eduardo may find it tough, but should previal. 2-1 i'll say. I expect Austria to give it a go, even if some of their fans wanted them to withdraw! And i'm looking forward to seeing Modric (even if that London bunch nabbed him), Rakitic, Kranjcar, Klasnic and others, depending on who plays. |
