My name is Al, I'm a newbie (2nd post, waiting for mods to say I'm ok)

I'm on a scottish football forum but I have a strong interest in English football - I actually prefer English football. I was once a mod for a forum in which was orginally set-up for the supporters of The Sun's ficition football club Warbury Warriors.

I support my hometown club, which is Livingston FC, now stay in Edinburgh. Supported them when they were based in Meadowbank, Edinburgh as my grandad was club secretary and my dad played for them in the 1970s. But my dad and the rest of my family support Hearts (crap) and Man Utd (why I don't know, gloryhunters?)

I also support Barnsley as my great-grandad played for them around the 1910s.

I do favour the Northern clubs in England more - Newcastle, Man Utd, Liverpool - than clubs from the Midlands or London.

I did play at youth level for a couple of well-known clubs in Scotland but than to give up my dream of footballing glory at a young age due to ankle and knee injurys Sad

So I'm now in training to become a Modern Studies and Sociology teacher.

Right I don't like speaking about myself on these forums so this will be the only time I will.

i love reading about Warbury Warriors! you have my utmost respect for being a part of their fanbase.

what do you think about Eric finding out finally about Todd being Nicks child? Muddy Mildred its all going potty down at thge Gasworks these days aint it!

you will fit in well judging by the effort you put into that! look forward to seeing some of your posts in the near future

I don't support Newcastle despite my love for the city's nightlife. One of the best cities in the world for a great night out.

I enjoy watching English football and don't support any club in it, just like to see the Northern clubs doing well. If Barnsley are to ever return to the Premiership then I'll favour them over any Newcastle or Manchester United.
