He's certainly a class player but I don't think he will score 5 Del.

well he will be up against the Keeper that kept him out (all be it not the full 90mins) in his opening Euro 08 group game. Probably a better defence as well.

del piero aint that good anymore.. get over him , he wont score at all.. if any one is gonna score ts gona be Trezeguet and he aint that good .. juve wont score at all.. they havnt got good enough players..

He can't be otherwise SAF would have signed him up for United and SAF IS the most experienced and successful manager there has ever been.

Funny that you said that, SAF wanted him in 2005 or 2006 but Del Piero opted to stay with Juventus. He refused a move to United and stayed with Juventus to play in Serie B, that's what legends do.

You know, when you become older you score less goals if you don't have class, but look at Del Piero.. Rooney & Tevez have no chance of reaching his level, especially not Rooney

Del Piero is a similar player to Rooney and was much better in his prime than Rooney will ever be. Right now they are similar. Del Piero is really slow now though.
