Cat Whitehill tears ACL, out of Olympics

She tore her anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee during training in South Korea. She will now miss the Peace Queen Cup and all of the Olympics in Beijing. The injury was confirmed on Tuesday night after an MRI was done on her knee. She will leave the team and return to the US to have surgery sometime in the next few weeks.

That's the second one I think to do that. Already without Osborne now Cat , they can't afford to lose anymore of the experienced players.

I feel for Cat , sad news.
