In my opinion, yes he is a star. He is young and at the moment is a very good player, maybe not world class yet, but he will be.
We'll see more of him when he plays for Spurs this season.

He sure knows how to miss a penalty, but then again all the stars do miss that usually (except Del Piero).

His performance in the tournament wasn't that good, now was it?

I didn't see him miss the penalty ,but it seems a trend with these overrated players recently.

Im a Spurs fan and have paid particular close attention to Luka in the Euros, I am very excited to see him at the lane next season, he is an exciting prospect.

The thing that struck me about him is his work rate and we need a player like that at Spurs, he is quality too no doubt.

Can he cut it in the hussle and bussle of the Premiership? Remains to be seen, but im confident he will, might want to keep him away from the penalties though lol.

I think most people know not to base their judgment on a player at a tournament such as this, but I think he was at the heartbeat of everything Croatia attempted. Virtually every attacking possession ran through him and he was always motivated, passing simply, effectively and getting attacking moves in motion. He also wasn't afraid to run with the ball either.

How do you rate Del Piero's tournament?

Modric was surely more impressive than him.

I'm Already A Star - Modric
