Today against Sweden they looked like the team going to win Euro 2008. I'm saying this because they have the luck of the champions, managing to win in injury time. Just like Manchester United, Madrid (under Capello), they always managed to finish the job in the end.

If Italy fail to win then surely it's down to Spain and Holland.

Don't you think this is the luck/skill of champions?

Exactly, but it's considered as the skill/luck of champions as I noticed the winning team always managing to score this way. It was skill and luck, had the defender not fallen for the tunnel by Villa it would've been a draw, any fraction could've changed the result.

They really convinced me that with Villa they will become champs.

Why not discuss what happened in the Spain V Sweden in the Spain V Sweden thread. Surely thats what is there for.

No, i've been far more convinced by Portugal and Holland, although i still don't think Holland will go on to win the tournament.

The teams that play well do not always or usually win tournaments like this. It's still really wide open.

Well it may be lucky since it was at the end of the match, but I don't think Spain have the luck of the champions. We're "lucky" in the group stage but then... you'll see it.
