So what are everyone's thoughts on this final group game for these two teams?

I'm going for a Czech Republic win. Ive put Milan Baros in my fantasy team because there's a chance he'll be partenered up-front with Jan Koller. Hopefully they can rekindle their Euro 04 form that seen Baros finish with the Golden boot for the tournament. Also i'm tipping the impresive Libor Sionko maybe grab another goal for the Czech's.

Don't think the Turks have enough quality in the middle of the park.

Can see a sound win for the Czechs with Baros grabbing a tap-in and Sionko finishing them off.

I'm gonna be watching this one over the Portugal - Switzerland game on at the same time, and will ve definetly rooting for the Czechs. I hope Bruckner keeps Matejovsky in the side, and he does well for them, outclassing the Turkish Midfield. I think the Czechs have enough to see of Terim and his boys.

2-1 to the Czechs.

I of course support Turkey Very Happy

I believe in that, this time you will see a different Turkish team. Everybody in Turkey criticised the players and Terim after the Portugal game. That was not because of the score but the bruise game they played. And the Switzerland match could be an easy win for Turkey if the rain didnt show up. Turkish players were getting close to their real performances in the second half of the Switzerland game.

For the first 2 games of Turkey, nobody (including the players) knew who was going to play and who was not till 1 hour before the kick off. This time Terim announced the starting lineup 24 hours before the match and its the same 11 in the 2nd half of the Switzerland match with 1 necessary changing in the defence. Looks like this time he knows what he's doing.

I don't really care who wins this. I just want to see it go to penalties after the 90 minutes have passed. Smile

I'm very, very disappointed to see Matejovsky stretchered off midway through that first half, i hope to God it isn't as serious as it seemed to be, he's going to be pivotal for us.

Regarding the game, the Czechs up one nil and deservedly so. They've been the more dominant team throughout and have fashioned the more likely opportunities and seen far more of the ball. Good strong header from Koller after Matejovsky set free Grygera who picked out the Nuremberg man very well. Koller is actually dropping back and linking in well with the Czech Midfield, who are again well protected by Tomas Galasek and marshaled by the composed Ujfalusi. Grygera and Jankulovski getting forward at every available chance to support the Czech attack whilst Sionko looking dangerous again, Plasil getting the better out of the Turkish defence.

Turkey yet to get going and have any meaningful possession.

He may be ancient, but he's still unstoppable! C'mon Koller!

I was a little shocked and disappointed to see him starting, as a) he was weak against Switzerland and Baros was impressive against Portugal and b) Baros is in my fantasy team.

Oh well, he's done the business and really dominated. Now let's hope the Czech's can prevail.

Two really well taken goals to be honest. Just the type of game as I imagined. The Czechs are just too strong. The experience and understanding of the game is higher.

What a complete meltdown by the Czechs. Their defense in the last 30 minutes were absolutely terrible.

Incredible turnaround. Well done by the Turks as well.

But the Czechs have thrown it away for me. Cech's drop to Nihat's feet for equaliser, and sloppy offside trap for the third.

Volkan sent off now. Incredible drama!
