Not so fast. Dechy has broken back and its now back on serve at 5-5 in the final set... Ivanovic has to lose this match IMO as she doesn't deserve to win it...

What a crazy day. Djokovic falls to Safin in straight sets; 6-4, 7-6 (3), 6-2. And Ivanovic squeezes by with a 7-6 (2), 7-6 (3), 10-8 win over Dechy.

I'm disgusted... Absolutely disgusted with Lady Luck...

Ivanovic has won her 2nd round match in the most luckiest way possible and she doesn't even deserve to win the 2nd set... I feel for Dechy. I think that girl cried before going out of the court. Who wouldn't???

Safin is the most unpredictable player on Tour IMO. On the day he can beat Federer as if Roger isn't even a top 50 player and the next day he'll lose to another player who might be in the 200s in the rankings... He's a very emotional player and easily gets frustrated when things don't go his way(Most of the times that is). If things do go his way earlier in a match, then he becomes kinda an unbeatable player(for the day that is)...

As for Ivanovic, I don't want her to win the tournament now even though she's my favourite women's player atm...

Absolutely quality from Safin, always was on top against Djokovic returning serve fantastically and playing some superb shots, forcing Djokovic into some uncharacteristic errors all over the court. That was the key to his victory in my opinion, the returns he got on a great percentage of Djokovic's serves, particularly the Serb's poor, poor second serves. A fully deserved victory for the charismatic and likable Safin. Hopefully he can now get his head in gear and start to push back up the rankings where he belongs.

Nadal has won his 2nd round match against Gulbis despite losing the 1st set...

Murray has also won in straight sets against Malisse..

Now Sharapova has lost the first set against her opponent(I couldn't spell her name)...

Yes.

Looking forward to the Quarter Finals today. I'm pledging my support this competition to Marat Safin.

It's Federer Vs Ancic. Interestingly the Croatian being the last man to have beaten Federer at Wimbledon. Not sure how much he has left in the tank after than epic five set battle with Verdasco.

Murray Vs Nadal

Safin Vs Lopez

And unseeded Clement Vs Scheuttler

I'm also looking forward to it. I think its great to see Safin doing well again and it looks like he has a good chance of getting to the semi final. His matches have been really good to watch. Federer will win his match. I want Nadal to beat Murray. Its great what Murray has done but Nadal is my fave player. Plus i want to see a Nadal nd Federer showdown. I'm not too bothered about the unseeded match.

I hope the rain isn't gonna be the winner today. Was looking forward to Federer v Ancic.

The women's final I think is gonna be boring if the Williams sisters both get through. And loud to with all the grunting Rolling Eyes

Safin is being dominated so far 4-2 down in the first set. Federer took the first set against Ancic very quickly.

Play now f*cking suspended!

Nadal has control of second set. Murray has no chance of a come back here. Not against Nadal. I'm really happy that Safin came back from 1-0 down to win 3-1. It looks like the break due to the rain helped him out. Should be a good semi between Federer and Safin. Federer to win though.

I hate how they are making excuses for Murray. Saying he is tired, its not his day and nothing is going for him. Thats a load of rubbish. The truth is he is just not good enough.
