Darren Bent number 19 what the hell. First we pay about 10 million to much for him and now hes the 19th bets payed player in world football. Ship him off as soon as possible me thinks.

We will see a new number one if Ronaldo joins Madrid though surely. I thought Beckham earnt more as there was that whole things about him earning a certain fraction of a billion pounds whilst at the Galaxy.

Suprise Judas is so far up the list aswell, 15th best paid is also pretty shocking.

I also thought Woody was our highest payed player.

It's funny to see how much money is paid for these 50 footballers and how Shevchenko earns more than Ibrahimovic.

If we used half of that money for charity then Smile. What a business football is.

You seen Romario play in Greece as a 40 year old? He was really impressive there. Oh and no, he didn't score a goal with his hand there.. Adriano? Not worth a euro...

Yep, football players earn too much these days. Good old days they didn't earn enough to feed themselves and had to work after matches, that wasn't good, but now 9 millions for Kaka?

This is his playing salary only. Beckham's overall deal includes endorsements and branding of his name and the Galaxy/MLS. He makes a hell of a lot more than what is on this list.

That's how most of the MLS players are. Average MLS salary is $32k (year) if I remember correctly.

Yeah and that's how it should be, although Beckhams XXXXXXX/s salary should increase that average.

Btw is this Cassano's current salary?

This appears to disagree though I'm not sure when it was published. Still, Bent at 19 FFS!!

Guess he deserves it for scoring 10 goals in 21 matches or so, although I thought Sampdoria was a small club.

These aren't accurate. Torres tooka pay-cut to join Liverpool... and his wages at At. Madrid weren't even that high.
