How about the 6+5 rule for champions only? |
|
For example Manchester United have to use at least 6 English player in the starting line up and if Arsenal somehow won the league the same would apply to them. Same goes to Inter, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
It's only fair to have the champions of your country to have players of your country, no? |

How about something that is legal with regards to European law ?

We are already compliant.
Foster Brown Neville Ferdinand Scholes Carrick Hargreaves Rooney Simpson Eagles And we have Fletcher and Giggs as British...or aren't we allowed to count them. |

First of all half of that list, they don't play for United and I'm not saying United doesn't have, but I am saying so teams such as Arsenal if they become champions they have to do that and same with Inter etc.
It gives them a bigger challenge. |

it'll be a bit hard for Arsenal, seeing as though i think walcoot is the only englishman in their first team.

so del.... you think the rule must be like that if you are number 1 of the league then you have to get 6 players of your own country. and what about the rest?(number 2,3,4,5, etc)

I found the formula for x=1 to n
S= n(n+1)/2 |

I don't know what you expect to achieve with this. Are you trying to make those teams with fewer English nationals even stronger by insisting they play more English nationals? Like Manchester United and Chelsea do, currently the two most successful teams, playing the highest number of England nationals, in the EPL. If you look at Arsenal with the majority of foreigners in their side, they haven't been Champions for the past 4 years, obviously not a very succesful formula for them. Maybe they do need more English players to make their team stronger. |

Absolutely no to any rule which creates an unfair playing field.

Nope. Same rule should apply to all, although I'm opposed to this 6+5 rule. If anything regarding equality I'd be more open to a salary cap than anything.
