Former Chelsea defender Roberto Di Matteo has been unveiled as the managerial successor to Paul Ince at the MK Dons. The Italian has signed a one year contract with the club with an option of a further contract and it is the first managerial appointment for Di Matteo. He is believed to have just pipped Ian Holloway and Steve Cotterill to the post and the club were believed to have received over forty applications since Ince's departure.

Do you think this is a clever appointment from the Dons? Perhaps risky appointing a novice in what is a crucially important season for the Club?
