Oates joins stalybridge

Stalybridge Celtic announced today the signing of attacking midfielder Michael Oates.

Michael (19) joinsafter being released by Crewe Alexandra and goes straight into the squad for tomorrows trip to Redditch. He was signed just before Fridays 3pm deadline.

Parties join to save cherries

Administrator Gerald Krasner has revealed there are two parties interested in rescuing cash-strapped Bournemouth with a joint bid.

The Cherries are reportedly £4million in debt and Krasner has set a deadline of Tuesday March 11 for any further consortia to make their interest known.
